Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive Ins and Dives will be featuring a visit to one of the South’s favourite barbecue spots, the Smoke Shack Team of San Antonio. During our last trip to San Antonio, Chris Conger, the owner of the restaurant, was with us. He is well known for his incredible barbecue. Take a look at his Big Dog sandwich. Big Pinks barbecue truck doesn't come with an engine but it does have better smokers. The truck has been parked at Union Avenue in Bridgewater for many decades. The truck will appear on the Food Network's July 29th at 9 p.m. The Big Pinks BBQ sandwich offers a unique experience. The sausage measures eight inches and is filled with different types of meat. It is topped with several sauces and is accompanied by an onion ring.

Guy Fieri's career in restaurants

Guy Fieri was only 14 years old when he began selling soft pretzels. His father helped him build a three-wheeled bicycle cart, and he sold the snacks to make money for his foreign study trip. After graduating from the University of Nevada in 1990, Guy Fieri worked at various restaurants and eventually became a district manager at Louise's Trattoria in Las Vegas. He also worked as an assistant dishwasher and sold groceries.
